About Medrol 8 Mg

Medrol 8mg (Methylprednisolone) tablets contain the corticosteroid i.e., methylprednisolone as an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API). Drug Interactions of Medrol 8 Mg


There is mild to moderate interaction of this medication along with the use of antihypertensives.

Ethinyl Estradiol

Ethinyl estradiol should be avoided with methylprednisolone as there is a moderate interaction between these two drugs.

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs

NSAIDs can have a mild or moderate interaction with this medicine. The concurrent use of both should be decided on the basis of this drug interaction by the medical practitioner.

Azole antifungal agents

Azole antifungal agents have a severe effect on the body by the interaction with methylprednisolone.


The use of alcohol and its interaction with medicine is unknown. The use of alcohol should be discussed with a doctor.

Special Warnings


The medication is not recommended to be used by any breastfeeding woman. The use should be allowed only if it is very necessary. The proper guidance from the doctor should be taken by the patient for this.

Liver diseases
