What is Magnalyte Plus Cream?

This cream is used to treat melasma. Melasma is a common skin condition that causes dark, discolored patches on the skin, mainly on the face. Melasma is commonly found during pregnancy and menopause.

The main contents of Magnalyte Plus Cream are Hydroquinone (4% w/w) with Tretinoin (0.05% w/w) and Fluocinolone acetonide (0.01% w/w). Hydroquinone is a demeaning agent. Tretinoin is a synthetic retinoid or a man-made retinoid. It is therapeutically classified for Dermatological uses. It is applied as a topical gel, mostly in 0.025-0.05% drug concentration.

It is a type of vitamin A, also known as all-trans vitamin A or all-trans-retinoic acid. Fluocinolone acetonide is A very effective mineralocorticoid. It also has some glue to corticoid activity.
